Although you have the option to extend the scope of development and add to the pages and/or the applications embedded into the site and effectively customise the development, essentially, the purpose of the Web Express site is to ensure that a web presence and the business values are achieved by your organisation, before you make a large investment into building a complex and costly site.

Project phases

Please take a moment to look at the way we complete your project and the stages the development goes through from the initial discussion to handover. This should give you a better understanding on how we execute the project.

Stage 1 Initial Project Discussion

Once you have decided to do something about your web presence and you are interested in our Web Express package, the first thing to do is talk to one of our consultants. We will come to your premises, look at your current structure and discuss your needs, recording your information so that our design team can tailor the service to suit your specific requirements.

Stage 2 Pre-development

Based on the information supplied to us at stage 1, we will choose up to 3 design templates for you while we will check domain availability and prepare for development work. You now need to decide which of the templates best suits your business and prepare the site content for us. Please note, we will use your own content as supplied unless you opt to take advantage of having your content written professionally. A 40% deposit is required at this stage of the process.

Stage 3 Development

Stage 3 is when we get all the hard work done and you just need to seat back and relax. All the work is generally completed within 2 weeks once we start the development, unless any major changes or additions are added to the basic package.

Stage 4 Test and Go Live!

Now it is your turn to test our work and once you are happy with the site, it can go live at anytime. Generally everything runs as it should, however, there maybe minor tuning to be carried out, this is very simple and quick and will not cause any major delays to putting your site up live. After this is done, the remaining 60% of the project cost is due. We would ask that you pay promptly, once you are happy with our work, of course. But it doesn’t end there. Illuminance Solutions value our customers and will not just leave them after the site is up and running. We now move to the final stage.

Stage 5 Review and Support

We will arrange a review 3 months after the site is launched to ascertain if everything is working the way it should be and look at improvements that can be made should you so require. We can also continually maintain the site on a support contract or on an on-demand basis.
