CRM Integrations


Businesses often require integration of CRM and SharePoint, because they not only require a centralised source of client or member data, but they also require centralised and organised document storage. Integration of the two systems has many benefits, such as specifying a document location within CRM, being able to attach files with large sizes, and greater capacity for collaboration. Microsoft has enabled a standard integration tool for CRM and SharePoint. However, the integration is clunky and doesn’t allow full utilisation of SharePoint’s functionality.

To combat this issue, Illuminance have created a CRM and SharePoint Integration Module. It uses standard web and JavaScript tools to post required information to SharePoint without having to use a middleman component.

The integration provides a way of filtering documents or list items by related records in CRM. For example, you may have a case in CRM related to a client or member of your company. Users can use an Open in SharePoint button, which allows them to see documents related to the case in SharePoint. In doing so, users are able to harness the full functionality of both CRM and SharePoint.


Creating invoices and receiving payment is at the heart of many businesses. Every business needs efficient methods of creating invoices and making sure payment has been received. When accounting software is used as a standalone software, staff duplicate information by recording tasks and products in CRM and your accounting software. Staff must follow up invoices to ensure they have been paid. These invoices are then stored in a separate location to the remaining clients information. This duplication and separation of documentation is not an efficient process.

Illuminance’s CRM and Xero Integration streamlines your accounting process. This product synchronises CRM Accounts and Contacts to Xero Customers, ensuring the same information exists in both systems to limit error. Products and services are listed in CRM. A CRM workflow dispatches tasks to a midpoint, which then formats the data and posts it to Xero. The result is that information from CRM is sent directly to Xero, which creates an invoice. This reduces staff workload by minimising the duplication of information.

Scheduled status updates from Xero back into CRM ensure that CRM has up-to-date records of invoice status. Following updates, CRM saves the Xero ID for future use. This results in reduced error and labour hours, and centralised storage of client information. Effectively, this product allows you to reconcile your invoices in Xero but keep all your data in CRM, and improve the efficiency of your accounting process.


Illuminance’s CRM and MYOB Integration streamlines your accounting process. This product synchronises CRM Accounts and Contacts to MYOB Customers to ensure information is effectively shared between the two software’s. Products or services are listed in CRM, which sends the information to MYOB.

A scheduled task runs to synchronise all new invoices, or changes to invoices to ensure the information is shared and stored in both systems. As a result, you can use MYOB and the features it contains, while centralising client information in CRM.
