WAPPA moves to improve value-added services to over 1100 public primary school leaders

The Western Australian Primary Principals’ Association (WAPPA) has engaged illuminance Solutions to partner with them to plan, architect and deploy integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Event Management systems to improve how they provide services to their members. As the professional association for leaders of public primary school education across Western Australia, WAPPA provides support, services and recognition to over 1100 members across the state to impact educational outcomes and strengthen school leadership.

Ms Paige McNeil, General Manager of WAPPA said “WAPPA wants to provide the most value-added services we can to our members. Using technology to improve a member’s experience when booking workshops, conferences or educational sessions is one of the goals of this project. It was identified that improvements to event management functionality and linkage to the member web portal will be important to positive member engagement.”

Ms McNeil also noted that “We are looking forward to streamlining internal processes so that our team can focus even more on providing services. We have a small team with varied responsibilities and we currently coordinate between multiple systems and applications that are not integrated meaningfully. These factors served as the catalyst for WAPPA’s decision to utilise a CRM system and were areas that could gain efficiencies.”

“Illuminance has helped similar not-for-profit organisations integrate various systems as they provide services to their clients or members” said Nilesh Makwana, CEO, Illuminance Solutions. “For WAPPA, we developed a solution that builds upon their Microsoft Office 365 platform and their familiarity with Office products. Our organisations collaborated to define WAPPA’s requirements and the needs of members as well as plan for bringing their financial and other applications together so that they operate as a consistent and robust system that supports their objectives.”
