What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

We do not currently collect Personal Information about you when you visit our website.   

However, there are other means by which we may gather information on you.  This may be attained directly from you in the process of establishing you as a prospect or client of our business, or during the process of executing a project on your behalf, e.g. from interviews, correspondence, telephone, email, texted messages, from your website, from media or other publications, or any other open sources available and from third parties.

We don’t guarantee website links or the policy of authorised third parties.

illuminance Solutions will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information. 

In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information. 

There may arise tenuous circumstances where we may not grant an individual access to their personal information.  Exceptions to access are outlined in the Australian Privacy Principles.

If a security breach causes an unauthorised intrusion into our system that materially affects you then we will notify you as soon as possible and later report the action we took in response.

 

Complaints  

You may also make a complaint about our handling of your Personal Information, a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles, or legislation (if any) that apply directly to us.  

You can contact us by email, or send your request or complaint to the postal address below.  We undertake to respond within 30 days. If the request or complaint will take longer to resolve, we will provide you with a date by which we expect to respond. 

 

Maintaining the Quality of your Personal Information 

It is important to us that your Personal Information is up to date.  We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. Our website does currently use Google Analytics.

Overseas Recipients

Currently our business operations do not have any direct dealings with clients or recipients based solely overseas.  As such we do not see at this time that we are likely to disclose personal or client information of any kind to overseas recipients.  

 

Children’s Privacy 

Our various services have not been designed and are not proposed to address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”). 

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.  If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that you’re Children have provided us with Personal Information, please contact us.  If we discover that a Children under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our servers immediately.
