On June 7 we woke up to the most amazing piece of news we could ever imagine; Illuminance Solutions had been crowned Microsoft’s 2019 Partner for Social Impact.
The global Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards aim to recognise those Microsoft partners who have demonstrated excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.
Illuminance Solutions was recognised for its AvantCare platform, which we designed in collaboration with local NDIS service providers to help them comply with changing NDIS regulations, while delivering client centric quality service.
Microsoft received nearly 3,000 nominations across 115 countries and assessed entries based on an evaluation of how the technology was used, the impact it had, and the commitment to the customers demonstrated along the way.
The Partner for Social Impact award was introduced in 2019 and we are very proud to be the inaugural winner.
Here’s what Microsoft had to say about Illuminance Solutions’ AvantCare as the winning entrant:
“The Federal Government of Australia introduced the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which provides information, support, and funding for over 460,000 permanently and significantly disabled people.
The strict compliance criteria and business model requirements was putting providers at risk of being unable to attract funding to help those most in need.
Now care sector providers can increase transparency and quality in service delivery, grow and develop their workforce capacity to deal with demand, automate previously time-consuming administrative tasks and remain compliant with NDIS requirements.
Organisations are already recovering up to an additional 2 percent of revenue and seeing cost savings equal to 5-6 FTEs per service organisation thus empowering them to focus on their mission to deliver critical social impact.”
On behalf of the AvantCare and Illuminance Solutions teams; thank you to our clients and our supporters for enabling us to develop innovative solutions and technology to support and empower the people that make an impact on other people’s lives in the aged care and disability sectors in Australia.
Our CEO Nilesh Makwana will formally accept the award at the upcoming Microsoft Inspire conference, held in Las Vegas in July.
“Together we achieve more”.
